Goodies goodies goodies!

The man in the picture above is Dan Haaksman... "the man" behind the berlin based MAN RECORDINGS one of my favourite record labels at the moment.
Dan was in London last night to Dj at the Egg Club alongside Zombie Disco Squad and Duke Dumont amongst others...
We had dinner at the Vegetarian curry restaurant in Angel and after dinner Dan proceeded to give us some of the label's latest releases...EDU K-GATAS GATAS GATAS, MC GRINGO-"GRINGAO" as well as some compilations... God only knows how much I Love goodies!
keep and eye and both ears open to MAN RECORDINGS releases...some of the freshest baile funk and funk carioca MC's and producers are being released on the label...

Weekly guest # 1

This is the first edition of my weekly guest and this time Ive got two very talented homeboys... Nat and Lucas who called themselves ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD a duo of young Dj/Producers based in London that are killing it at clubs around Europe (the photo above shows the Zombies hanging in Moscow! where they were playing not long ago...)

Mixing rhythms like techno, baile funk, Baltimore and club bangers in general this guys have gained respect in the London Club scene and with their GET RUDE night have became pioneers in bringing hot acts before any other club or promoter had like Sweat X, The Bulgarian and Dj Manaia. I was invited to play their night and I gotta tell you it was crazy!

When I ask the Zombies to be my guests they accepted the invite in no time! and replied with this two gems:
